Sales Operations Manager (d/f/m) 80 – 100%
Are you passionate about creating efficient structures, driving operational excellence, and enabling sales teams to perform at their best? At FAIRTIQ, we are looking for a Sales Operations Manager to professionalise and own our Sales Support function while driving cross-functional initiatives that make our commercial organisation more effective.
In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our Sales Support function, you'll create, maintain and improve the day-to-day materials, optimise processes, and lead internal projects that improve how we work. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Project Management and other teams across FAIRTIQ to ensure our commercial organisation runs smoothly and efficiently. Your success will be measured by concrete outputs: current materials, usable guides, quality of support, reliable tender and document management.
What you'll do
Sales Support and Commercial Operations
- Own the day-to-day Sales Support function: triage, prioritize and personally complete incoming requests from Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Project Management and other teams
- Create and maintain sales materials — presentations, order forms, translations, research and other commercial documents — so they're current and easy to find
- Manage and continuously develop the Sales Support function and its daily operations
Tender, Procurement and Proposal Support
- Support the Bid Manager and Sales team in preparing tenders, RFPs, RFIs and other deadline-driven submissions
- Gather and follow up on inputs from internal experts, based on responsibilities and timelines set by the Bid Manager
- Improve tender response materials by updating templates, standard answers, case studies and lessons learned
Processes and Tools
- Improve Sales Support workflows: identify what's slow or unclear and fix it
- Test and roll out AI-supported tools where they genuinely improve speed or quality
- Over time, guide and manage Sales Support working students, ensuring their work is well briefed, prioritised and useful
- Min. 2 years of experience in project management, operations, sales support, business operations or a similar hands-on role
- Experience coordinating internal projects, managing multiple priorities and driving process improvements - you identify with taking ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
- A structured, analytical and detail-oriented way of working
- Strong writing and structuring skills: able to turn complex or technical input into clear, usable material
- Experience supporting tender or proposal processes, especially under deadline pressure, is a strong advantage
- Interest in guiding working students toward clear, high-quality work
- Fluent German, English and French, allowing confident communication in an international environment
- Experience with tools such as Asana, Confluence, CRM systems such as HubSpot, is an advantage
- Work on a highly innovative, market-proven product that is transforming public transport
- Become part of a fast-growing, international scale-up company with real impact
- Join a collaborative, supportive, and down-to-earth team
- Enjoy full flexibility: remote, hybrid, or from our offices in Berlin, Bern or Zurich, with flexible working hours
- Choose your workload: 80–100%
- Receive a personal development and training budget
- Benefit from public transport discounts or Deutschlandticket
